Presently, an excellent career opportunity is available for a Principal Account Manager – Refinery Projects role within Honeywell UOP’s Latin America organization based in Mexico City. In this position, you will lead the development of technology projects with Honeywell UOP’s existing and new customers in Mexico and adjacencies. You will own all aspects of prospecting, developing, negotiating, and contracting said interactions with UOP’s clients. Moreover, you will connect with the appropriate Account Managers in the sales organization and sales support to ensure sales success. You will provide suitable input for development of Technical Proposals, and will be responsible for developing, in conjunction with the business, suitable commercial strategies and proposals. The Sr. Technology Sales Manager will develop, manage, and negotiate all commercial agreements – licensing, engineering, guarantee, initial catalyst and/or adsorbent fills, equipment, and service. This role is ideal for professionals interested in pursuing a career in UOP Technology Sales, Marketing, Business Management and other Business Development roles.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new technology project opportunities and develop existing ones in the fields of oil refining and petrochemicals in Latin America, primarily Mexico
- Develop projects for grassroot and revamping of refining and petrochemical technologies in the region
- Bridge the benefits of UOP refining and petrochemical technologies to a specific customer application, highlight the value and uniqueness of said solution
- Lead project opportunities through the entire sales cycle: clarify bid, develop sales strategy, enroll, and align sales support, submit proposals, and close deals
- Deliver previously agreed financial targets and margins
- Ensure UOP’s clients in the region will have the best possible experience throughout the project sales process
- Work cohesively with UOP’s internal organization through the complete sales cycle
- Forecast project demand and revenue from assigned accounts
