    Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
    The Clinical Leadership team are in search of an experienced Principal Advisor to step into this permanent full-time position. Working closely with the Senior Advisor and Coordinator to support the Chief Clinical Officer and National Clinical Chiefs, you would be responsible for providing strategic advice across the Clinical Leadership function, maintaining focus on supporting health system delivery. This role will take the lead on overseeing the ministerial and government services workflow through the office, ensuring the office delivers quality products on time. The position will also support the office with wider work including drafting key documentation (reports, papers, presentations) and leading projects as required.

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Needs to draw on extensive specialised work experience in a relevant role, typically supported with professional qualifications – 10-15 years.
  • Experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice, particularly in leading complex or contentious work.
  • Experience in the development and presentation of well-articulated, unambiguous, and robust advice, papers, and reports.
  • A proven ability to use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, to influence and guide organisational and system-level decision making.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience (e.g. Law, Humanities or Business).
