About the role
The purpose of this role is to strengthen integration between public Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug (MHAOD) services and the Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Integrated Service System - High Risk Teams (HRT) in responding to DFV. This will be achieved by:
- Planning, implementing and evaluating initiatives relating to Statewide integration of public Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug (MHAOD) services and the Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Integrated Service System.
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships between stakeholders across health services, community and the primary health care sector, Clinical Governance Unit Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch, and DFV and Women’s Health Reform Unit, System Policy Branch, Qld Health so that initiatives and projects are effectively enabled.
- Demonstrate improved outcomes for patients through agreed strategic allied health initiatives.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience of contemporary evidence-based practice and clinical service delivery models in primary and/or acute health care and ability to apply this knowledge strategically to achieve redesign and innovative solutions to complex connecting care issues.
- Knowledge of patient-centred, value-based and connecting care approaches in developing models of care/service delivery.
- Demonstrated high level of inter-personal and communication skills evidenced through an ability to negotiate, manage conflict and consult effectively with key stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop high quality written documents relevant to the role.
- Highly developed organisation skills with the ability to set priorities, manage competing priorities, coordinate activities and monitor and report on the effectiveness of strategies and projects to management.
- Ability to lead change through improvement activities in a complex environment.
- Ability to work autonomously to achieve goals of the work unit and to effectively contribute to organisation goals.
- Initiate, lead, manage and evaluate agreed strategic service planning initiatives.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
