Responsibilities:

WELLS FARGO IS SEEKING A PRINCIPAL ANALYTICS CONSULTANT (PAC) IN INTERNAL AUDIT ON THE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM & INTEGRATION (TPI) TEAM. THE TPI TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPORTING TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS USED BY INTERNAL AUDIT INCLUDING A CUSTOMIZED AUDIT ARCHER BASED APPLICATION, AMS. THE TPI TEAM SUPPORTS AUDITORS, AUDIT PRACTICES, AND INTERNAL AUDIT’S INTERNAL REPORTING TEAM AS WELL AS THE COMMITTEE AND EXTERNAL REPORTING TEAM THAT PRODUCES AND DISTRIBUTES REPORTING TO SENIOR EXECUTIVES AND OTHER LEADERS IN THE ORGANIZATION. THE PRINCIPAL ANALYTICS CONSULTANT (PAC) WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LEADING DATA ENGINEERING EFFORTS AND ANALYTIC EFFORTS SUPPORTING THE INTERNAL REPORTING TEAMS AND ASSISTING TPI IN OUR OWN DATA ANALYSIS PROJECTS.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a top subject matter expert over AMS and other data to lead data strategies engineering the collection, storage, and analysis of large data.
  • Utilize data analysis methodologies to provide insight, tell important stories, and add efficiencies to processes.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure priorities are in alignment with audience needs, feedback is incorporated into existing reporting and all reporting needs are met and/or documented.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across audit, technology, and the organization to deliver results and clear obstacles so you must strong relationship management, influencing, organizational and execution skills.
  • Lead moderate to large initiatives or projects and must be an excellent project manager utilizing Atlassian suite of products (Confluence, JIRA, etc.).
  • Drive improvements to the delivery and quality of reporting.
  • Managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Coordinate with and support Product Owners with data related stories preparing them for upcoming sprints.
  • Coordinate and lead discussions with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve problems ensuring the root cause is addressed and not just the symptoms.
  • Mentor and develop team members.
  • Support the TPI Senior Audit Manager through delegating and managing tasks amongst the broader team and acting as an internal liaison for key business partners.
