As a Principal Architect, Software you will be responsible for taking a leading role in the continuous development of our self-service analytics tools and platform and their codebase together with the Information Platforms team.
These are the interfaces through which we offer our users the ability to understand and further analyze the states of their processes using our hundreds of connected devices’ stored data with market leading speed. We are moving our products and development processes from an early growth phase into a stable, continuous cycle of product improvement

Responsibilities

• Working closely with our Data, UI/UX and Analytics teams you are able to bring up the software developer’s perspective in how we implement our software solutions.
• Design software architecture, identify improvement potentials, maintain current architectural implementations and even take a hands-on approach when needed.
• Support and mentor developers
• Work as a bridge between stakeholders/product management and development teams
• Drive continuous improvement of our product architecture, both in on-prem and cloud

Expectations/Our Ideal candidate

• Has several years of professional experience in software architecture
• Education level: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related area
• Has an understanding of agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish
• You have the capability to solve problems and passion to take on even complex challenges that push our software capabilities to the limits.
• You have a background as software developer working with or designing software solutions using at least one of the following:
• javascript: react, typescript and node.js
• c++
• python
• You have experience with software development processes and working in a team and can guide others to make optimal solutions.

Additionally we appreciate/helps you succeed

• Previous experience with Snowflake, SQL, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS Salesforce frameworks.
