Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 10+ years of software delivery experience.
  • 8+ years of leadership or management experience, in a technical environment.
  • 8+ years of experience managing software development projects.
  • 8+ years of experience with strategic planning in technology

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large scale transformational initiatives in financial services companies.
  • Executive leadership experience managing complex technological large scale cross functional initiatives in a large-scale dynamic organization preferably financial services.
  • Leadership experience driving process change in a large, cross LOB financial services company.
  • Demonstrated experience driving top-down culture change.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of technology efforts across several major lines of business and effectively partner/influence at the senior executive level.
  • Broad experience across multiple areas of technology including architecture, infrastructure, application development with strong understanding of leading edge as well as legacy and distributed technology to effectively manage the complex and diverse applications portfolio.
  • Highly effective decision-making/critical thinking/problem solving skills with a collaborative and results oriented leadership style.

The position:

  • This senior role will report directly to CT Leadership team and will have the main responsibility for driving process improvements and standardization and policy simplification.
  • This position will interact with leaders across Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) as well as Wells Fargo lines of business (LOB). The position will support the Cyber Technology Strategic Execution Delivery leader to build out a 6-quarter roadmap and create an action plan to implement both short and long-term strategic solutions, which may include engineering automation, scaling solutions, identifying gaps as they align with policy and driving remediation initiatives to improve all aspects of Cyber hygiene.
  • Immediate responsibilities include handling the latest challenging issues and initiatives in order to ensure there is an understanding of the plan, risks and creating a plan to deliver. There is an expectation that this role will be able to handle multiple strategic initiatives at the same time and drive progress.
  • Additionally, this role will be accountable for driving remediation across the firm by working with stakeholders and delegates as well as designing future processes leveraging technology to automate the desired outcome.
  • Key initiative of this role is to establish a technology strategy and roadmap addressing CT efforts and drive this roadmap to successful delivery and ensure accountability with all stakeholders.
  • This leader will be accountable for establishing and maintaining the highest levels of technical engineering delivery across our major CT Products and Strategic Wells Fargo CT and Enterprise initiatives may require focused, dedicated teams to drive results and ensure successful, on-time delivery.
  • This role will evaluate skill set gaps and staffing needs and make recommendations on the build out of a team, or skill expansion, to ensure that we are influencing the direction and speed of adoption of all key efforts identified to assist with driving the execution of this portfolio.
