Invites applications for the position of Principal: Catholic Elementary School The London region is one of the fastest growing areas in Canada, and the LDCSB is growing rapidly as well. We are seeking a number of Catholic elementary school principals to join our team. We are one of the largest employers in the region, with more than 4,500 staff working together to educate approximately 27,500 students. We have 44 elementary schools (soon to be 45) and 9 secondary schools.

Qualifications Ontario School Principal’s Certificate - Part 1 completed & Part 2 completed or in progress to be completed by the start date of the appointment. Part 1 - Religious Education or Equivalent (Minimum Requirement).
Specialist (preferred). Part 1 - Special Education or Special Education for Administrators AQ (preferred). A Master’s Degree (preferred). Completion of the Called to Lead Program or in-progress (preferred).
The LDCSB has revised the expectations for our Catholic Leadership Journey through the Call to Lead and Call to Serve programs to ensure our leaders fully understand the level of expectation and accountability required to be a leader in our board. Submission of a recent Self Assessment Tool and Commitment to Catholic Education or Aspiring Catholic Leaders, in consultation with your Principal (within 2 years of application) Priority will be given to individuals that have completed or are in progress of completing qualifications. Experience Vice Principal Experience A minimum of five (5) years recent teaching experience in the elementary panel is required. Recent experience in Catholic leadership at the school and/or system level.
