Description:
To ensure, and oversee, the systematic provision of a high quality highly specialist psychological therapy service to young people and their parents/carers accessing specialist community CAMHS services in Berkshire. This will be via a combination of direct clinical work and the provision of consultation and supervision of associated professionals/colleagues within the Anxiety Disorders Treatment Team . ( ADTT) .
The post holder will operate within ADTT to provide highly developed expert psychological clinical advice on the evidence-based approach for children and young people with complex presentations requiring multiple interventions, complex or intensive risk management plans and high levels of multiagency working. You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary CAMH Service, managing a clinical caseload, providing care coordination and supporting high quality clinical provision . The post requires travel to sites across the Trust as necessary to meet the clinical needs of the population and other relevant tasks.
In collaboration with the CAMHS leadership team, to initiate , contribute to, and lead service developments as required to ensure patients receive the most appropriate interventions in a timely way to enable their recovery, balancing most current research evidence, available resources, and an understanding of local and national policy and objectives .
Responsible for the delivery of psychological therapy within ADTT , providing expert professional leadership and advice relating to the delivery of psychological therapy for complex presentations requiring multiple interventions, complex or intensive risk management plans and high levels of multiagency working in order to ensure and develop consistently high quality, safe and cost effective services for users, working in partnership with key stakeholders internal and external to the Trust.
As we develop our on-line offer, to undertake a role in moderating service user activity on the Trust Support, Hope, Recovery On-Line Network ( SHaRON ) and to participate in on-line discussions and care delivery via this modality.
Responsible for expert psychological assessment, case formulation , risk assessment and treatment for a designated number of patients presenting with complex mental health difficulties.
To support the development and implementation of frameworks and strategies that improve clinical practice, governance, education, learning, performance, management and quality in the service and across the Trust
To support the further development and maintenance of support services delivered by the team, including but not exclusive too, the advice and consultation function, CYPF digital services including Young SHaRON and the online resource.

Responsibilities:
- Post graduate doctoral qualification in clinical psychology (or equivalent).
- Registered and accredited with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) or UKCP/BPC
- Evidence of post-doctoral specialist training to accreditable level in at least 2 areas of psychological practice directly related to the clinical requirements of this post.
- Leadership experience and a successful track record in leading service delivery and contributing to service transformation
