THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Principal Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will be a technical leader within our Cloud Security Engineering team, driving the design, development, and implementation of scalable infrastructure security solutions. You will lead large-scale initiatives, provide strategic direction for enhancing cloud security, and ensure the highest standards are met across our infrastructure. Your expertise will help guide the organization in adopting and maintaining advanced cloud security practices, and you will serve as a mentor to the engineering teams, fostering a culture of security excellence.

  • Lead strategic cloud security initiatives, driving cloud security strategies to ensure our infrastructure is protected against the latest threats.

  • Implement advanced automation solutions to enhance our cloud security posture and streamline security operations at scale.

  • Continuously harden cloud infrastructure and services, making them resilient to abuse, malicious activities, and emerging threats.
  • Ensure containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines follow best-in-class security practices by building developer-friendly guardrails for seamless security integration.
  • Develop and manage scalable security processes for cloud infrastructure provisioning, focusing on least-privilege principles and zero-trust models.
  • Act as a technical mentor to engineers, guiding them on best practices and elevating the team’s technical capabilities in cloud security.
  • Own the process of identifying, remediating, and validating high-severity security issues, minimizing disruption to the organization and customers.
  • Partner with senior leadership, engineering teams, and stakeholders to align security practices with business objectives and ensure secure deployments across the organization.
