About the Role:
We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Principal Cloud Software Engineer/DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Cloud Software Engineer/DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our hybrid cloud
infrastructure strategy, driving innovation, and providing technical leadership to our organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for our hybrid cloud infrastructure and applications, aligning it with business objectives.
  • Design and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines, leveraging automation and orchestration tools to streamline the deployment and testing of cloud-based applications.
  • Optimize the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure through continuous monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement DevOps processes and strategies across the organization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing thought leadership and driving innovation in cloud computing and DevOps practices.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience working as a Staff Cloud Software Engineer/DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Extensive expertise and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Deep understanding and experience with containerization technologies.
  • Proven track record of designing and managing large-scale, highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices.
  • Experience with advanced monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Extensive experience with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading Agile teams.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 - $225,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
