THE ROLE & THE TEAM

ZEOS by Zalando is our logistic division which is currently offering to our partners: Zalando Fulfilment Solutions (ZFS), Zalando Shipping Solutions (ZSS), Zalando Returns Solutions (ZRS) and Multi-Channel Fulfilment (MCF).
Our team’s goal is to drive strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and business intelligence initiatives within the ZEOS organisation, enabling informed insights and maximising operational efficiency.

The Role of the Principal Commercial Excellence Analyst is:

  • Establishing a commercial operating mechanism that enables to manage the commercial activities, funnel, sales numbers, with rigour and accuracy
  • Identifying and supporting the roll out of tools related to: Account planning and Analytics tools (margin management, CRM, etc)
  • Leading and coordinating the implementation of Commercial Excellence initiatives aligned to global strategy
  • Driving continuous improvement in the commercial (sales operations) processes
  • Developing and implementing, together with the Sales and Marketing department, of different marketing & sales projects in line with the strategic imperatives of the organisation
  • Contributing to sales and marketing strategic decisions and playing a critical role in designing and monitoring commercial approach with a clear analytical approach
  • Setting KPIs and performance management process, assess performance, identify performance gaps and drivers, develop remediation / action plans and deploy resources as needed
  • Translating strategic objectives into operational plans
  • Working horizontally within the Business Unit to drive alignment, execution, accountability and results
