The opportunity
We are looking to engage with candidates who are interested in exploring Principal Migration roles. At this stage, we are releasing this as an expression of interest with either a start in the next month or 2, or early 2025. We can look at contract or permanent opportunities.
- This role will see you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to clients in their cloud adoption journey to Azure whilst driving successful outcomes for complex cloud migration projects
- As a leader for technical engagement, you’ll drive high level design, consultation, maturity assessments, cloud assessments and delivery for Azure & DevOps technology offerings, whilst becoming an expert in our Dr Migrate product.
- You’ll design, advise and implement state-of-the-art migrations on Azure that address clients’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security, operations and performance.
- You’ll also partner with and manage senior stakeholders to identify business objectives, gather technical requirements, present solutions and create a comprehensive adoption plan. This will include identifying, interpreting, and communicating meaningful insights, conclusions, cost estimations, and reports, as well as running workshops
- As a Principal, you’ll also mentor, coach and bring Engineers together in a high-performance delivery culture and remain a driving force behind client activities.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Mastery of leading and overseeing complex cloud migration projects, providing strategic direction and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Significant expertise in client consultancy
- A broad understanding of Azure services and emerging technologies, with a focus on their applicability in cloud migration projects
- Expertise in developing comprehensive cloud migration strategies and cloud assessments aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
- Expertise to provide guidance on cost optimization and governance strategies
- A deep understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), and hands-on experience in delivering successful client workshops and complex CAF assessment reports.
- Confidence to engage with senior client stakeholders to identify business objectives, technical requirements, and create a comprehensive cloud adoption plan.
