The Principal Data Governance (DG) Engineer is passionate about data governance, privacy, and compliance and responsible for enabling a DailyPay’s data governance program, including improving existing processes for managing the control and protection of sensitive data and information assets. The Principal DG Engineer will focus on ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework including data policies, standards and practices, and compliance with regulatory and contractual security and privacy requirements for critical company data throughout the information lifecycle, coordinates with data stewards to help develop new data-centric systems and services, and maximize the value of data while minimizing risks.
DailyPay is looking for a skilled Principal DG Engineer with hands-on experience and a solid understanding of building and maintaining an enterprise data architecture designed to enhance observability, alerting, reporting, and the development of machine learning (ML) applications and to lead the roadmap for implementation of Data Governance within DailyPay. This role will be instrumental in helping to realize this vision for DailyPay by creating data oversight standards, PII discovery approaches, data quality frameworks, data dictionary and data lineage documentation.
