ABOUT THE JOB
In this role, you will build key business intelligence reporting for direct supply partnerships (pace reporting, recommendations and insights), rate and inventory reporting and price competitiveness.
This role has a tremendous impact on the vision and success of the company. It’s a unique opportunity to join Hopper’s direct supply team, and get access to fascinating and massive market and behavioral data sets. Your main responsibility will revolve around creating scalable partner facing reporting, internal executive reporting, commercial reporting for business growth and inventory monitoring, a scope that spans large strategic portions of our business . It’s a huge personal growth opportunity and includes high potential upside of pre-IPO stock options.
In this role you will be part of a cross-functional team of product managers, data scientists, and engineers who work closely together to make travel easier and reach millions of users in the process.
WHAT WOULD YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE:
- Initiate, Develop, and Maintain Business Reporting: Build and maintain core business reporting for our key focus areas - competitiveness, rates and inventory, commercial prioritization and analytics and partner facing reports.
- Analytics Ownership: Take full ownership of our analytics suite that is used by our commercial teams for business development, acquisition, opportunity sizing and operations
- KPI Metrics and Reporting Frameworks: Identify, refine, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) critical to assessing business performance. Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that allow for continuous monitoring and reporting of these metrics.
- Core Reporting for Decision-Making: Create and manage core reporting systems that drive both daily operational decisions and long-term strategic ones. Ensure that these reports provide actionable insights and are readily available to relevant stakeholders.
- Revenue Growth Opportunities: By becoming an expert in our data and understanding our customers thoroughly, proactively identify new opportunities for revenue growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that capitalize on these opportunities.
- Autonomy in Problem-Solving: Identify data-related challenges and develop creative solutions independently. Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to data quality and accuracy.
