Job Description

THE ROLE

Due to a strong project pipeline, we are looking for a Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services Team, based in Perth.
This role would suit an experienced Building Services Electrical Engineer with exposure to multi-disciplinary projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and run your own projects across a range of market sectors, with a particular focus on; defence, transport, education and local council projects.

WHAT WILL A DAY IN THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE:

  • Extensive, relevant experience delivering and leading Building Services projects in a client-facing role as an Associate or Principal Electrical Engineer.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing technical design documentation alongside leading and running electrical engineering components of major projects.
  • Play a key role in the teams’ success by participating in project planning, design delivery, the mentoring of junior staff and generating new business leads.
  • Utilise your expertise in electrical services design by providing high-quality design services across lighting, general and specialist power, earthing/lightning protection, and power distribution & reticulation.
  • Provide leadership and mentor younger engineers within the broader AECOM business whilst liaising with Engineers across various disciplines on a variety of projects.
