Continuous company growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team, based in Murarrie on a permanent full-time basis. Candidates are required to be living locally or be willing to relocate to Brisbane from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
- Perform FEED and Detailed Design for substation equipment and systems, including Protection Design, AC/DC Switchgear, Switchyard, Substation Building and Auxiliaries, Battery/ Battery Charger/UPS.
- Conduct Power System Modelling and Analysis Studies for protection coordination, load flow, short circuit, harmonic & flicker, motor starting, transient stability, arc flash, lightning protection, and insulation coordination.
- Design Earthing systems, including Step and Touch Potential, EPR, Earth Grid Design, and Portable Earthing
- Protection and metering of scheme design, technical/economic feasibility studies, technical support for estimating and project framing, asset lifecycle engineering and analysis.
- Assist in the development of engineering standards, processes, and systems and provide supervision and training to engineers and graduates
