founded by a mine closure industry expert and professional soil scientist. Our team of scientists, engineers and
professional experts engage with clients in the mining and minerals sector to deliver projects within a
framework of structured practices which succeed in delivering innovative solutions to complicated challenges.

We are looking for a Principal Environmental Scientist to join our team focussing on engineering new
environments. Reporting to the CEO, this exciting and permanent position will be responsible for the growth,
development and delivery of SGMEs environmental discipline.
Candidates must provide inspiring and value-driven leadership for this discipline and work collaboratively with

other internal disciplines and external stakeholders with a particular focus on:

• Proven track record to driving revenue growth and a genuine passion and commitment to environmental

management;

• Building strong and long-term relationships with existing and potential clients in complex business

environments;

• Maintain a cohesive and high-performance team within the discipline;
• Technical leadership and team mentoring;
• Exceptional skills at project management of client projects in a timely manner to meet all deliverable

timeframes, budgets and client needs; and

• The ability to communicate complex solutions to a variety of customer stakeholders, from technical to

non-technical.
