POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a standout in educational administration, someone with a proven track record of leadership. As we expand our team, we’re seeking an inspirational leader who can effortlessly engage others. Our ideal candidate has a clear vision for the future, is adept at navigating change with progressive leadership skills, and has a knack for effective administration.
In this role, you’ll serve as Principal, overseeing a cluster of childcare campuses within Fueling Brains Academies. Your primary responsibility will be to provide leadership and guidance to directors at each campus, ensuring the delivery of top-notch childcare services in line with our organization’s philosophy and educational standards.
But here’s the exciting part: We’re not just looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We want someone who can take our childcare campuses to new heights and elevate both the campus directors and the campuses themselves. Our aim is nothing short of a revolution in childcare, setting new standards that outshine all that came before.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in school administration on a larger scale.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education and brain development.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and comprehensive training of campus directors to ensure their success and that of their respective campuses while fostering a positive and supportive environment through active engagement with parents, staff, and the community.
  • Prioritize community involvement, highlighting the essential role of parents and the community in early childhood education. Offer mentorship to campus directors on the importance of community engagement and provide them with actionable strategies to foster meaningful connections.
  • Empower campus directors with advanced problem-solving and conflict-resolution strategies. Offer personalized coaching to refine these skills, particularly in navigating challenging situations with finesse.
  • Collaborate with childcare licensing authorities, regulatory agencies, and community partners to ensure compliance and build positive relationships that benefit the childcare campuses and the community.
  • Oversee financial matters, including budget management, human resources, and labour management. This involves effectively managing resources, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and optimizing staffing and operational efficiency.
  • Establish clear goals and benchmarks for childcare campuses and directors to monitor progress effectively. Collaborate with the Director of Student Services to enhance overall childcare program effectiveness and student development through strategic program development and evaluation.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with the executive leadership team to provide updates on the status and progress of the childcare campuses, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
