Description:

As our highly valued Principal HR Business Partner , you’ll contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners. And you’ll do this with people who want you to grow and progress.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will have the opportunity to provide senior level, expert HR advice and consultancy services to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and employees across a broad range of HR activities. You will also lead and manage HR projects and take responsibility for developing and implementing workforce planning and management initiatives across the domestic workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong collaborative business partner relationships with the ELT and colleagues (as the trusted advisor) across the organisation.
  • Lead and manage a small team of HR Business Partners in the provision of contemporary HR activities including but not limited to: HR policy advice and application, case management, performance management coaching for leaders. This includes modelling behaviours and attitudes aligning with TIQ’s values and supporting the development of the team through shared learning and coaching.
  • Ensure verbal and written advice provided by the HR team, is consistent and compliant with relevant legislation, industrial instruments and custom and practice, both in Queensland and across international jurisdictions.
  • Supporting operational areas in developing, implementing, administering, and reviewing strategic human resource management and organisational frameworks.
  • Facilitating the resolution of complex employee and industrial relations issues through the provision of effective support, through case management and workplace interventions.
