As Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a senior technical role within the Specialist Data Centre Services team, contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions for large-scale compute and storage platforms. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of infrastructure, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Cloud Infrastructure Design: Capture and develop client requirements, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and produce solution designs.
• Implementation Lead: Oversee project teams to ensure smooth client workload migration and successful deployment.
• Technical Escalation: Act as the escalation point for complex incidents and problem management, supporting the operations team.
• Security and Compliance: Design and implement centralised controls to meet security and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to document technical processes, creating resources accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
