SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure work is carried out competently and effectively, within time and budget constraints, and that project objectives are satisfied
  • Overall supervision of instrument engineers, designers and technical personnel in the execution of the project and the development of project electrical deliverables
  • Prepare instrument cost, time and resource requirement estimates on assigned projects.
  • Identify and review new technologies development which may provide more efficient and cost-effective solutions
  • Manage design change within project budget and schedule framework
  • Prepare instrument progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis
  • Manage project discipline resource requirements
  • Development of project cost estimates
  • Effective interaction with client engineering team for approval of design deliverables
  • Participation in Site survey and data collection for instrument design
  • Participation in design reviews, value engineering workshops
  • Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team
  • Ensuring technical integrity of the instrument deliverables for the project. Ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards.
  • Specifications and data sheets for instrument equipment
  • Factory inspection and testing of instrument equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university
  • Instrumentation & Control engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore projects
  • Experience leading an engineering team the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
  • Has led Mega-Scale projects and recent projects with ADNOC or other GCC companies.
  • Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas
  • Good Communication skills, supervision, leadership
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access
