A Day in the Life
The preferred working location for this role is the Medtronic facility located in Mounds View, Minnesota; however, the individual may also work remotely within the US or onsite at another US-based Medtronic facility. Preferred site locations include Jacksonville, Florida, North Haven, Connecticut, Tempe, Arizona, or Boulder, Colorado.
We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Engineer / Architect with a strong focus on site reliability engineering responsibilities to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications, with a specific focus on the architecture design and implementation.
The IT Site Reliability Engineer/ Principal Architect is key roles in the IT Operations and Innovation team with the mission of planning, building, and running complete architecture for applications that help automate and identify cost reduction opportunities and drive continuous in the day-to-day operations. Maintaining standards and security compliance is also a primary focus. The IT Site Reliability Engineer/ Principal Architect will interact with multiple IT functional areas, including Infrastructure and Operations, Global Information Security Office, the Architecture Review Board, as well as site IT leaders and operating unit stakeholders.     Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):150,000.00
    The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
