ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Our Landscape. Masterplanning. Urbanism. (LMU) team are looking for a Landscape Architect to come join our growing team with a strong focus on LVIA/TVIA projects. The team consists of 90+ people offering the full spectrum of Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning and Urban Design services. The services range from Masterplanning, urban regeneration, strategic planning, design concept, through to detail and implementation as well as Environmental Assessment and LVIA/TVIA.
As part of our Environmental team, you’ll help improve quality of life. With your specialism in environmental management, or your technical or sustainability expertise, your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality or noise. And in some of the world’s busiest and most beautiful locations.
We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we’re feeling the effects climate change, rapid urbanization, loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we’re seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As part of our team you will have a strong focus on LVIA/TVIA projects.
You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including our sector leading in-house environmental disciplines and high-profile designers, as well as external partners. You’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s largest, most complex and technically demanding projects. These currently include major large-scale energy generation and transmission projects, important residential and mixed-use developments as well as significant infrastructure projects.
However, not all of our projects are large scale. We have equally exciting smaller projects and, together, present a rich and varied portfolio of projects and clients including at national and local levels, and in both the private and public sector.
You’ll be challenged and inspired by projects that demand a variety of ideas and solutions. It’s why we value collaboration. Why you’ll work with talented colleagues who bring fresh thoughts. And whilst each Arcadian brings their own perspective, we are united by a passion for sustainability, collaboration and a desire to solve the most complex challenges our world faces.
