JOB SUMMARY:

onsemi is seeking a Principal Lead, Pricing Analytics reporting to the Director of Corporate Pricing Strategy in Scottsdale, AZ. You will be responsible for leading the development of pricing analysis and Price Book processes for all business units at onsemi. Your primary objective is to lead the creation and reporting of pricing analytics as well as manage the Price Book process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and product management to drive pricing initiatives and ensure best in class pricing reporting and operational processes

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in pricing or related field
  • Experience and understanding of the distribution “Sell Through” business model and the effect it has on price calculation and analysis
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and utilizing logic and analytics to influence key stakeholders and present solutions
  • Deal calmly and effectively in high stress situations
  • Demonstrated success achieving results in a cross-functional environment
  • Able to manage relationships across multiple departments, and solve complex problems with minimal supervision
  • Expertise in MS Excel and experience with data visualization tools, especially Tableau and Microsoft BI.
  • Excellent communication skills to drive change management and adoption of new processes
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related disciplines, Masters or MBA preferred

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as the lead pricing analyst for the Corporate Pricing Team and all corporate functions
  • Develop pricing analysis based on a thorough understanding of product performance, customer segments, market position and market trends. Identify opportunities to enhance pricing effectiveness, improve profitability and increase market share.
  • Manage the quarterly price book process across the organization ensuring effective communication, training, system utilization and change management
  • Drive process improvement to facilitate the efficient and accurate publishing of global price lists and supporting tasks
  • Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to convey recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership for follow on actions
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for tracking pricing performance. Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Engage senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders via the utilization of pricing data and analytics influencing corporate strategy
