SUMMARY:

As Principal Mechanical Engineer. You’ll spearhead the design and development of advanced systems for our Recycling Machines, driving environmental change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Design and Development of electro-mechanical systems that power Envipco’s Recycling Machines (Reverse Vending Machines).
  • Create, review and release specifications including 3D models, as well as Controlled Engineering Drawings for Fabrication and Assembly.
  • Use SolidWorks and other computer-aided design programs to design and Specify Reverse Vending machines and release Engineering BOMs and Individual component Specifications.
  • Lead and Create Engineering standards and design processes for Envipco including design reviews, DFX, DFMEA, Design Validation, & Design Release.
  • Support Supply Chain in validating locally sourced components and modifying designs accordingly.
  • Lead DFM activities and other quality-oriented projects.
  • Lead and champion Engineering process improvements.
  • Coordinate design changes based on manufacturing challenges.
  • Lead Engineering design work in support of and in collaboration with other teams to help resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Actively maintain and share knowledge of new technologies, methods, and techniques
