WHAT’S THE POSITION?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly growing technology team, responsible for continuous growth and support of an unrivalled betting experience for millions of sports fans everywhere. We’re looking for a Principle Mobile Engineer who will bring their creativity and experience to Hard Rock Bet to help us build software with a spark of magic. This is a role that works closely with Product Management, Design, QA, and Backend Engineering to deliver a full-featured mobile app. The candidate should have a strong track record developing React Native apps, as well as experience with iOS and/or Android apps, preferably with a background in sportsbook, gaming, or a related industry.

• Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team to deliver a seamless platform experience across multiple platforms.
• Develop a high-performance mobile application in React Native for iOS and Android, serving tens of thousands of daily users.
• Expertly break down features into detailed requirements, provide accurate time estimates, and create comprehensive test procedures.
• Navigate the challenges of working in a highly regulated industry, ensuring compliance and stability.
• Partner with business stakeholders to continuously evolve and enhance the mobile application.
• Work closely with the team to develop robust backend APIs that support both iOS and Android mobile platforms.
• Advocate for best practices in testing, code reviews, and continuous integration, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, stable code.
• Prioritize the end user’s experience, consistently improving performance through iterative development.
• Implement comprehensive analytics throughout the application and analyze results to drive data-informed improvements.
• Serve as the go-to person for planning and executing complex or challenging assignments.
• Lead troubleshooting discussions, asking insightful questions and quickly analyzing critical factors.
• Influence the strategic direction of the organization, particularly within the domain of expertise.
• Employ state-of-the-art technologies and strategies to optimize content delivery and application performance.
