Description:
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Essential
- Demonstrable 5 years+ experience in planning lifting operations
- CPCS A61 Blue card LOLER Appointed Person
- Experience in rigging/fleeting of loads
- Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, internal & external
- IT Skills including proficiency in AutoCAD
Desirable
- ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads (TAP01)
- Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations – Planning Lifts
- Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations – Supervising Lifts
- CPCS A62 Blue card Crane /Lift Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with internal & external stakeholders
- Design, planning (inc method statement) and risk assessment of lifting operations
- Working with legislation such as LOLER PUWER
- Coaching and mentor to lifting personnel
- Peer review of complex lift plans
- Ensuring a safe system of work is in place for lifting operations
