The role
You will demonstrate leadership skills by providing support and guidance to junior team members and uphold a collaborative and supportive team culture, engaging respectfully and collaboratively with internal and external staff involved in the projects. Your role will require active representation of the MHAOD Strategy and Planning Branch on state-wide committees including infrastructure projects. By participating in these committees, you will contribute to the development of effective, innovative, and strategic health service planning to meet the diverse needs of individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. We have two Full-Time vacancies located in Brisbane CBD, one Permanent, and a Fixed-Term Temporary opportunity (until 31st December).

• Lead and manage specified infrastructure and/or or policy projects in line with project management methodologies to ensure the delivery of timely and quality project outcomes.
• Lead and manage capital project involvement with proven ability to prioritise actions, influence, negotiate and engage positively with stakeholders for improved outcomes.
• Utilise high level strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills to develop reports, discussion papers and submissions.
• Contribute strong knowledge and understanding of the mental health alcohol and other drug treatment service system including the complex interrelationships within the government, non-government, and private sectors.
