The Xbox Platform Team is on a mission to lead the Operating System (OS) & Platform for the next generation of gaming across a product portfolio of devices. This team is hiring an experienced Principal Product Manager Lead to support growth on the XBOX Platform Team.
As a Principal Product Manager Lead, you will build and retain a high performing team of talented Product and Program Managers in delivering a scalable software platform for players and developers. In this capacity, you will need to collaborate well with both business stakeholders and the engineering teams.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development preferably with consumer facing product and/or large scale development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • 5+ years experience working with operating systems, platforms, and integration across platform and devices/experiences.

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development preferably with consumer facing product and/or large scale development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years people management experience.
  • Experience working on at least 2 full product lifecycles of gaming focused products, or equivalent (e.g. Games, XBOX, Playstation, Steam, etc.) OR other consumer facing product.
  • Experience working with consumer products, gaming or the entertainment business.
  • Experience working in situations with high levels of ambiguity.
  • Experience working on complex problems while retaining focus on maintaining a profitable business.
  • Technical knowledge & understanding of operating systems, platforms, and integration across platform and devices/experiences.
    Product Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
