This role focuses on post-sales deployment and optimization of Gigamon’s network visibility solutions, ensuring positive business outcomes for customers. The Principal Professional Services Engineer II will join a collaborative, innovative team with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, system optimization, and quality delivery. This is an individual contributor role that works closely with cross-functional teams, system architects, and end-user technical teams. Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead solution design, deployment, and optimization efforts for Gigamon’s network visibility and security products.
  • Identify deployment alternatives and propose optimized solutions for customers across various industries, including mobile networks, service providers, and enterprises.
  • Ensure technical compliance with security standards and policies (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS, NIST), and work with system architects to meet security requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to guide security policy implementation and compliance.
  • Automate and streamline post-sales processes to enhance customer experience and accelerate time to value.
  • Conduct testing, documentation, and pilot deliveries to ensure high-quality deployment results.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design, deployment, and management of network tools and applications, with a focus on security and scalability.
  • Strong technical expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, L2/L3, IPv4, IPv6).
  • Extensive experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack).
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C) and APIs.
  • Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and collaborating with virtual teams across geographies.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001/27002, CIS, NIST) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SDKs and additional programming languages is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Portuguese language skills are a plus.
