ABOUT YOU
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- The ability to communicate effectively and build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- The ability to undertake critical financial analysis, design innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in accountancy, business, economics, commerce, finance or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of revenue legislation, policy and billing systems particularly in the health environment.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
- You’ll be joining the largest public health system in Australia and contribute to a world-class health system in NSW.
- This role is part of the Revenue, Performance and Funding team that develops and drives strategies to optimise revenue opportunities to support NSW Health in delivering health system performance including Local Health Districts, Networks, Ambulance, Ministry Branches and Pillars.
- You will undertake complex reviews, benchmark and analyse financial and revenue performance data and provide expert advice to the executive and other key stakeholders.

Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $145,378- $168,130 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Lead and manage the planning and delivery of the Ministry’s Revenue Partnering function with Local Health Districts, Networks and Shared Services.

- Identify and lead the implementation of material improvements to improve own source revenue generation and collection for NSW Health.
- Oversee the analysis and assessment of monthly Health Entity revenue reports for accuracy of data, validity of forecasts and other performance indicators including effectiveness of revenue strategies.
- Prepare detailed and often complex correspondence, advice, submissions, briefings and budget supplementations for the Chief Financial Officer, Ministry’s Executive, the Minister and other relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and review revenue and balance sheet performance of Health Entities, identify trends, benchmark to peers and make recommendations to Branch Executive and Health Entity Directors of Finance in areas of performance and underperformance.
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met across the health system.
