Description:
Responsibilities:
- Be an integral member of both the ECRS MK2 Radar Quality team and the Integrated Project Teams (IPT) and contribute to all aspects of Quality ensuring the success and completion of all allocated projects
- Maintain and deliver upon Project Assurance Plans (PAP) defining project assurance activities aligned to Risk, Opportunity and Improvement within the Programme, ensuring they are maintained as relevant in line with the changing project demands.
- Be fully aware and engaged with the Operational and IPT risks and opportunities and support, and take leadership where appropriate driving progress
- Agree risk based internal assessments with the IPT lead and deliver these to completion including managing any findings to closure
- Analyse and communicate information to support the escalation and clear communication of IPT requirements to ensuring correct decision-making
- Take leadership, on behalf of the IPT, on all instances of Non Conformance and Failure and ensure situations are managed collectively to a dependable closure with the IPT Peer Group. This will be both internally within the business and with the external supply chain
- Provide Guidance to the Assurance Team in order to meet Programme and IPT objectives
- Contribute to the Assurance function’s improvement plans across all phases of the Programme, Product and Project Lifecycle
- Provide reports and supporting data to the Project Assurance Manager, Quality Manager and Project Managers as required.
- Support and mentor more junior members of the Assurance Team to grow quality excellence within both the Quality Assurance Team and the Project IP
