DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in real-world evidence, medical affairs, HEOR or market access
- Significant part of previous experience gained in consulting / professional services
- Strong interest in developing and delivering innovative solutions across the evidence lifecycle (strategy – execution – dissemination)
- Proven success in selling complex studies and/or strategic engagements to HQ / Global level
- A track record in building client relationships, ideally including experience of account strategy
- Commercial awareness, including experience in balancing scope management and client relationship to ensure commercial objectives are met
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a solution-orientated mindset
- Proven ability to advance ambiguous or conceptual ideas to decision points, while engaging multiple stakeholders, internal and clients
- Experience in managing virtual teams and enabling individuals to perform, grow and deliver client work to high-quality and standards
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. Values people’s opinions and encourages knowledge sharing
- Previous experience in coaching junior team-members, ideally in a formal coaching role
- Offerings’ development experience – familiarity with accepted innovations models e.g., open innovation, ideation, product platforming, immersion or similar would be beneficial
- Leadership experience in complex organizations with demonstrated results in aligning people without formal reporting relationships
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As a Principal within the MEP team, you will take on a variety of roles within the following core areas: business development, client relationship building, project leadership, team development.
The role requires an inquisitive, consulting mindset to develop new opportunities, alongside a customer-first mentality to grow long-term partnerships with headquarters clients. Working closely with account sales and other go-to-market teams, you will engage with senior client stakeholders to identify their needs and develop custom solutions across the real-world evidence and medical affairs space. The role has responsibility for ensuring oversight and delivery of high levels of client satisfaction for continued opportunity exploration and account revenue growth.
