A DAY IN THE LIFE
Medtronic is looking for a Principal Sales Analyst to join our Reporting & Analytics Team for the EMEA region. In this position, you will play an important role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting business decision-making processes through comprehensive reporting, and analytical solutions. The Prin. Sales Analyst will be vital establishing best practices on developing regional solutions, harmonization of existing analytics and process optimization within the region.
The job function can be performed remotely, working with colleagues and business stakeholders located across EMEA region countries.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in sales analytics, business analytics, or related field, with strong focus on data analysis and reporting within multinational contest.
- Proficiency in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.), and data extraction/manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, etc.). Experience Developing front-end reporting solutions.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives. Translate needs into analytics proposals that fit for usage among different Operating units and countries within the region.
- Design and implement reporting frameworks to meet the needs of regional business.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy automated reports to monitor Business regional key initiatives by using business intelligence platforms (Tableau mainly).
- Analyse datasets from different sources. Make connections to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Identify inefficiencies in current solutions and recommend enhancement. Lead efforts to harmonize and automate current reports and processes to bring more scalability and reduce turnaround time for key deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between IT team and business teams to translate data requirements.
