Our team is building the next generation Sports Betting platform that optimises flexibility performance, responsiveness and resiliency. The technologies we like to use include Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, Cassandra, Postgres, Kubernetes, AWS, Postgres, etc.
We are seeking an Experienced Principal Software Developer (Backend). As a curious engineer, you’ll be enthusiastic to innovate and Accelerate progress in smarter ways.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Have mastery of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, algorithms, and the Java API
• Robust understanding of popular frameworks and libraries used in Java development, which are essential for building robust and scalable applications
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices, which involves breaking down applications into smaller, original services that can be developed, deployed, and scaled
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to streamline the development and deployment process

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Working within Java development
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Designing and developing applications using Java 8 platforms
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Profound insight of Java 8 and functional programming
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and NoSQL
• Developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
• Working within est-driven development
