    This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

YOUR EXPERIENCE SHOULD INCLUDE…

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure with AWS, ECS, and containerization.
  • Experience using tools such as Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, and CloudFormation to automate, standardize, and abstract the creation of cloud resources from development teams.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript (FE), and ReactJS.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (such as GitHub Actions) and automation processes.
  • Capability to effectively debug and troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a passion for teaching and assisting others in learning.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a bias for action.
  • A continuous learning mindset with a strong sense of creativity.
  • Ability to thrive in a self-motivated, fast-paced environment where experimentation and failure are encouraged.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deploy robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using IAC principles.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Work with AWS to optimize performance, cost, and security of our cloud environments.
  • Manage resources, monitor usage, and implement best practices.
  • Own identified platform issues, research root causes, and implement resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional peers, including Product Managers, Designers, and Technical Writers, to facilitate significant organizational impact.
  • Actively contribute to the ideation and planning of future product directions.
  • Mentor team members and expand the organization’s engineering knowledge.
  • Advocate for engineering standards improvement through code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
