Our Risk Technology team plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our data systems. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Ab Initio Data Engineer to join our team and lead the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure.

REQUIRED AB INITIO SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE).
  • Experience with Ab Initio Co>Operating System.
  • Strong knowledge of Ab Initio components such as:
  • Input Table
  • Output Table
  • Reformat
  • Join
  • Rollup
  • Scan
  • Sort
  • Partition by Key
  • Gather
  • Merge
  • Normalize
  • Dedup
  • Aggregate
  • Lookup
  • Experience with Ab Initio Continuous Flows and Express>It.
  • Product capabilities - MDH , data quality, data catalogue, express>it, business rules, re-usable templates, etc
  • Data management capabilities - reference data management, metadata management, knowledge graph , data quality, controls,
  • Integration patterns - streaming, , api, event driven batch, data virtualisation
  • Familiarity with Ab Initio Metadata Hub and Data Profiler.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex data processing systems using Ab Initio.
  • Architect scalable and high-performance data solutions to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processing activities.
  • Mentor and guide junior data engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and incorporate them into the data engineering practices.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data engineering processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in Designing, deploying and managing scalable and secure AWS Cloud applications
  • Knowledge in AWS Data Storage, Amazon Sagemaker and serverless computing(Lamda and API Gateway) is Add On
