We are seeking an amazing Principal Software Engineer to join us in the Xbox Developer organization and help design and craft the build, test, and flight solutions, boosted by AI, that will power next-generation game construction pipelines. You will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in software development by example and through mentoring, and you will play a pivotal role in enabling creators to build the best games in the world. QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience building production-level systems
- Experience with building and managing services and software that runs efficiently on-premises and in the cloud using C#, scripting languages, and cloud services
- Knowledge of front-end development and componentization
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, problem-solving, design, and execution
- Ability to lead through example and influence
- Experience in building new products or features from the ground up
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and related tools
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the game development industry and game studio workflows
- Familiar with AI/ML concepts and technologies
