Description:

The Release and Delivery Experience (RDX) team’s mission is to empower decision-makers with actionable insights, effective controls, and predictable releases that enable them to drive end-user productivity effectively and efficiently. A key element is reliably delivering high-quality M365 software to our enterprise customers. Enterprise administrators manage and configure their deployments via our integrated system that handles billions of requests and orchestrates millions of software updates each month. We enable policy customization, and provide insights into the inventory and health of Office on their devices.

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Engineering Manager who is passionate about engineering scalable services to join us in this impactful and challenging mission.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field,
- Technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Hands-on engineering management experience delivering large scale software.
- Experience developing for the web.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across multiple teams simultaneously.
- Proven ability to coach and build a thriving team.
- Demonstrated technical design and coding skills.
- Proven ability to execute against a software development schedule.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

- Experience or working knowledge of JavaScript/Node.js/React or another similar web stack.
- Proficient with high quality Software design, development experience with effective problem solving, and debugging skills.
- Experience in working on big data pipelines such as Cosmos DB, Kusto, Azure Data Factory, etc. or similar technologies would be a plus.
- Experience in working with Azure Dev Ops and SQL or similar technologies would be a plus.
