As a Principal Software Engineering Manager in PowerPoint, you will lead a team to enable Copilot’s use of enterprise assets in SharePoint and in third-party Digital Asset Libraries. You will collaborate with many partner teams including ODSP, Substrate and OAI to allow Copilot and PowerPoint to find and add this content. This opportunity will allow you to learn, or deepen your knowledge in LLM grounding, semantic search, AugLoop, the Microsoft Graph, and more. You will refine your skills in working with partner teams across Microsoft and ship user-facing features to millions of people. Partial work from home is possible for this role.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, OR Python
OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years people management experience
Software Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $135,800 - CAD $253,000 per year.
