Arribatec Hospitality is looking for a new team member. This is a business area specializing in innovative and digital solutions for hotels, with the goal to deliver world-class customer experiences. Arribatec Hospitality focuses on creating useful and convenient digital experiences for guests. The team specialises on user journeys related to check-in and check-out, offering a portfolio of hardware and software based products to improve these experiences for guests and hotel staff using these solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in a principal or senior architect role.
• Extensive experience in software engineering using MERN stack and Azure technologies.
• Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Proficient in Typescript, Node.js, and other functional languages and frameworks.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, such as App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Strong coding skills with hands-on experience in coding, code reviews, and leading code quality initiatives.
• Knowledge of microservices and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker,Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, especially GitHub Actions.
• Experience in using Git, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code for software development.
• Experience in using agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, for software development.
• Experience with security testing practices and tools to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Solution Architect - Typescript / Node with expertise in JavaScript and Azure technologies to lead the design and deployment of large-scale software solutions. The position includes a variety of challenging tasks, both operational and technical responsibility. You will work hands-on with coding and code review, exercise technical leadership, and play a vital role in the collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities in the role as Principal Solution Architect include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring they are aligned with business requirements, long-term system sustainability, scalability, and performance needs.
• Actively participate in writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient Typescript code for critical system components.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of code across the team.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to foster professional growth.
• Continuously monitor and analyse system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure the system can scale effectively to handle increased load and demand.
• Oversee the implementation of security best practices and ensure that the system complies with relevant regulations and standards, conducting regular security assessments and audits.
• Documentation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Manage, optimize and implement Azure Cloud Integrations.
