JOB SUMMARY:

As a Principal Tech Business Management you will be responsible for implementing, improving, supporting and leading the processes, strategies, and tools for the assigned technical business or technical functional area. You will also provide input and expertise for key technical functions by utilizing knowledge of the business, industry and technology.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Primary interface to all vendors for new contracts, contract renewals, change orders and statements of work.
  • Monthly budget forecasts for enhancing and capital budget.
  • Provides modeling for different cost scenarios.
  • Provides support across the business unit direct reports and others for all things financial support.
  • Define, design and implement processes into the technical organization and facilitate change through consulting and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
  • Requires 8-10 years of technical related experience.
  • Solid financial management skills.
  • 5-10+ years’ experience in budgeting & forecasting especially with technology teams.
  • 5-10+ years’ experience on contracts life cycle management.
  • Strong Excel and Power BI.
  • Thorough knowledge of the technical organization (processes, procedures, tools, applications, systems, etc.) coupled with a strong business background in order to fully support the technical organization.
  • Communication including creation of leadership presentation material, event planning, and oversight of corporate wide projects and Chief of Staff duties for a technical leader; and Quality Management including oversight of complete lifecycle of IT troubles and defects, problem resolution activities and all recovery activities.
  • Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) in Dallas, Texas. No relocation assistance is provided.
    Our Principal Tech Business Manager earns between $130,700.00 - $196,100.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
