Description:
Join a professional and high performing team delivering expert technical advice, assessments, solutions and guidance for works under disaster resilience, recovery and reconstruction funding arrangements to ensure compliance with State and Commonwealth disaster funding guidelines.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of funding guidelines and utilise your technical knowledge to complete high quality and high-volume assessment and benchmarking activities.
- Lead the delivery of timely and accurate technical assessments including pre-approvals, estimate updates, plant and equipment assessment and benchmarking and assessment close outs to ensure the Technical team meet QRA’s program delivery priorities.
- Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication to internal and external stakeholders about guideline requirements to ensure successful project and program outcomes.
- Lead and develop the evolution of established procedures and processes and ensure decisions and actions are ethical, well-documented, justifiable, and transparent.
- Design and deliver contemporary and innovative approaches to expert technical assessments and solutions including project work to enhance performance, risk mitigation and the use of technology.
- Attend meetings and onsite inspections with internal and external stakeholders in Southeast Queensland, and occasionally in regional or remote locations, in Queensland, before, during and after disasters.
- Represent QRA or the Manager at stakeholder meetings and events with relevant industry and community organisations and incorporate learnings into team and divisional planning.
- Lead and model highly collaborative internal relationships through the sharing of knowledge, experience and reflections as part of a wider team of multi-disciplinary specialists.
