Description:
The successful candidate will establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels across the branch.
Responsibilities:
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably with the ITIL framework.
- Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities’, the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE ARE:
- Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 4)
- Demonstrated knowledge and technical skills in one or more of the following; (SFIA: TECH Level 5)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022 (OS and Hardware)
- Citrix XenApp, 7.15
- Virtualization (VMware vSphere)
- Active Directory /DNS /DHCP / Group Policy
- Microsoft Clustering
- Web Servers Technologies (IIS7, 7.5 and 8.5, Apache)
- Provide level of technical expertise to provide technical direction, standardisation, professional advice and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focus organisation. (SFIA: ITOP Level 4, TECH Level 5)
- Well developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical domain specialists, application specialists and end users. (NHS: Collaborative Working)
- Demonstrated skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.
