Description:
ABOUT THE TEAM
We are currently looking for an experienced expert to lead the redesign of our equity portfolio. Our Total Rewards team is responsible for developing and executing the global reward strategy in close collaboration with Zalando’s senior management team. The scope of responsibilities of the team includes total reward benchmarking, regular salary review processes, executive compensation, as well as the design and implementation of global equity plans. In addition, the team is responsible for managing the group’s comprehensive employee benefits portfolio.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- You have 7+ years of working in compensation related topics, part of it in equity compensation
- You bring experience in designing and managing programs for executive compensation would be desired
- You have successfully completed university (masters) degree in business, economics, finance, social studies or a related field; you are a strong learner and keen to further expand your skills
- You have a strong affinity to numbers, strong in data analysis
- You have a structured and detail oriented way of working while always keeping the big picture in mind
- You bring excellent communication skills to different audiences and summarize complex topics in an easy to understand and digestible way
- You are solution-oriented and flexible, embracing change and seeking new opportunities in our agile work culture; you are stress resistant, open to feedback, demonstrate strong ownership and work independently
- You speak English fluently
Responsibilities:
- You will drive projects to design, improve and rollout group wide equity compensation plans at Zalando and be accountable for it. This includes alignment with a diverse stakeholder group internally and externally
- You will be responsible to manage Zalando’s global equity programs (Stock Options, ESPP)
- You will share your expertise, be one of the expert contacts for our HR business partner organisation and senior executives to provide guidance, analyses and training around our equity programs
- You will support the execution of key compensation processes like the yearly salary round
- You will network with external consultancy agencies and reward experts to understand and anticipate market trends
