Description:
The Priory Hospital – Altrincham is part of the Priory Group, Europe’s leading provider of specialist treatment in mental health. The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services. The hospital has residential facilities for 56 patients as well as day care and outpatient services.
We currently have a vacancy for a Principle Psychologist to work across our inpatient CAMHS Eating Disorder Service at Altrincham Priory Hospital.
The hospital is a principle provider to the NHS in the North of England, focusing on positive holistic outcome through full service provision.
The successful candidate will join a thriving therapy service that is committed to evidence based practice, supervision and providing professional development opportunities. The post holder will be an integral member of an established multi-disciplinary team to contribute to clinical meetings / care planning for service users. The candidate will also offer clinical guidance and expertise to the wider therapy service.
Applicants will be registered with the HCPC, will have doctorate in Clinical Psychology and will be expected to bring the psychology leadership, clinical and consultation skills necessary to offer an outstanding psychology service to their service users and multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Working within the standards set out by CQC, QNIC and other regulators
Providing excellent standards of evidence based practice
Regularly reviewing and monitoring outcomes of assessments and the effects of treatment in line with goal based outcomes
Active participation in service developments including: the use of service user feedback / in-house training
Contributing to the development of care pathways and other treatment protocols
To provide specialist supervision, training and consultation to colleagues through formulation groups / reflective practice
