As a Principal Consultant at Aldridge, you will be an instrumental player in our success by owning our client advisory relationships. You will drive technical alignment, mitigate risks, ensure long-term value for our clients, and build on a culture of Client Success at Aldridge. As a Principal Consultant, you will take ownership of successful relationships between Aldridge and our Clients by deeply understanding each assigned client’s business and providing strategic technical vision and alignment. You will drive strong retention by demonstrating Aldridge’s enduring value through the successful operation of IT.
The ideal candidate will successfully draw upon their infrastructure knowledge to recommend how to maximize value from the client’s IT assets, advise on technical deficiencies that cause business risks, and assist clients in planning and budgeting their future IT investments.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, deeply understanding their business and aligning technology strategy to meet their objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients, reviewing performance metrics, and identifying and executing areas of improvement.
  • Maintain a consistent communication cadence with clients.
  • Create and update technology plans and budgets.
  • Collaborate with other service delivery teams, including solutions architects, support, and projects teams to develop solutions to client challenges.
  • Work with the business operations team to develop proposals for projects and services that support the clients’ IT strategies.
  • Stay informed about client business trends, emerging technologies, and IT and security best practices and share insights with clients.
  • Keep pipeline and forecasting of future client investments accurate and current.

Responsibilities:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in a technology consulting role or similar environment working with and presenting to business owners or executive leaders
  • 3+ years of hands-on technical experience, ideally in an MSP environment
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and networking concepts
  • Attention to detail including the ability to accurately report and represent detailed information under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build a lasting rapport and effectively communicate with clients in high-stakes situations
  • Excellent problem-solving and isolation skills, with the ability to navigate challenging situations and find mutually beneficial solutions
  • Energy and enthusiasm to motivate your clients to align technologically for success
