Our client is a growing IT Solutions & Printer Repair organization is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Printer Technician . QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of knowledge of screen printing machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • 2 years of knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of printed goods
  • Experience with Laser trimmers
  • Experience with programming belt furnaces
  • Solder dipping processes
  • Experience with wire bonders and component placement

Responsibilities:

  • Performs component level troubleshooting and repair of circuit card assemblies (CCA)
  • Invests an appropriate amount of time to troubleshoot a CCA based on its cost and assembly line needs
  • Completes appropriate documentation for MRB disposition
  • Assists Purchasing team in the disposition of rejected and repaired CCA’s
  • Performs routine and semi-complex tests of Production assemblies per documented procedures
  • Work assignments are planned, prioritized, and completed to meet the requirements of various internal customers
  • Must demonstrate knowledge, understanding and compliance with established policies, protocols and procedures
  • Sets up and operates various test & measurement equipment required to complete work assignments
  • Consultant will be changing toner to start and move into full printer support and eventually laptop support once they are up to speed
  • Installation, diagnose, maintenance and repair laser, inkjet, thermal and impact printers from multiple OEMs
