Description:

The Privacy Analyst will support the Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Counsel in managing Cetera’s privacy program, including compliance with applicable privacy laws. This role will also support intellectual property and technology matters.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Organize, maintain, and update privacy policies and procedures. Coordinate with other teams to ensure distribution of current versions.
  • Administer data mapping software; issue surveys through data mapping tools to departments throughout the organization and update data map as appropriate.
  • Work with employees in various departments to ensure compliance with privacy program requirements.
  • Support in the development and preparation of privacy training materials.
  • Project coordination of privacy tasks that arise due to M&A.
  • Track intellectual property portfolio and support new filings.
  • Support and collaborate with Information Security and IT on privacy matters.
  • Organize, maintain, and update technology-related terms and agreements.
