ABOUT THE ROLE:

Compare the Market is on the lookout for an exceptional Privacy and Data Compliance Advisor to become an integral part of our dynamic Compliance, Legal and Risk team situated in Toowong. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide leadership and strategic guidance on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards across our core verticals.
As a critical member of the team, you will bring expertise in governance, advisory, assurance, and reporting disciplines. Your contributions will make a meaningful and positive impact on our people, partners, and customers, as you navigate complex compliance challenges and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Partner with the business to ensure compliance aligns with strategic growth goals.
  • Lead reviews and enhance business frameworks, standards, and policies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to business committees and support structures.
  • Offer expert advice on critical projects, partner arrangements, and business processes.
  • Advise on impact assessments and technology infrastructure builds.
  • Support 2LoD monitoring and assurance activities per expertise, delegation, and schedule.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across policy, process, and systems.
  • Assist with impact assessments for proposed regulatory changes.
  • Develop and enhance processes and policies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to data-driven and insightful reporting for the CTM business and leadership team.
  • Participate in strategic deliverables as a Compliance Department representative.
  • Support the development and embedding of a CTM 3LoD model and capability uplift in the 1LoD.
  • Contribute to CTM’s strategic goals and targets.
  • Foster transparency, inclusion, and trust to maintain confidence in leadership decisions.
  • Approve changes to frameworks, standards, and processes with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Provide approvals per the Delegation of Authority Policy and register .
